Restore sexual pleasure and confidence without surgery
FAQs about the Morpheus8V system for vaginal rejuvenation
At Kore MD Health and Wellness, board-certified physician Dr. Nicole Battaglioli has invested in various treatments to bring out our patients’ best, most confident selves. The same energies and approaches used to tighten skin and soften wrinkles in the face with the revolutionary Morpheus8 system by InMode may now be used to restore sexual health, intimacy, and a woman’s quality of life. This treatment is known as “Morpheus8V,” and we are pleased to offer it to women from across the Atlanta, Georgia, area who are suffering from persistent pelvic pain, bladder leakage, and a lack of sexual satisfaction and pleasure due to changes that occur deep within the tissues. These changes may result from childbirth, aging, perimenopause, and menopause.
How does the Morpheus8V treatment work?
Morpheus8V is within a category of treatments fueled by the EmpowerRF platform. As its name suggests, this system uses RF (Radiofrequency) energy and heat to induce deep tissue changes, the types of changes that strengthen and tighten problematic muscles and tissues responsible for decreased vaginal sensitivity, pain, and incontinence. Like the “classic” Morpheus8, the “V” treatment also uses microneedling to heal and rejuvenate tissues. This in-office procedure accomplishes what Kegels and pelvic floor physical therapy alone cannot, and it does so quickly and without the risks associated with surgical or more aggressive procedures for vaginal rejuvenation and wellness.
What can I expect from treatment?
Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling is first used to promote tissue healing in the targeted treatment areas. It is also used to make small channels or controlled wounds in the tissues through which RF energy is delivered. The RF energy generates heat. These processes stimulate the production of fresh collagen, a key building block for the skin and connective tissues. The treatment feels like a sensation of fleeting warmth and is well-tolerated with a topical numbing cream for comfort. You can also be in and out of our office in just 60-90 minutes. While many patients see incredible improvements after one treatment, optimal and lasting wellness is achieved after a series of three treatments, four and eight weeks apart.
What are the benefits of Morpheus8V?
This technology presents a safe, FDA-cleared, and non-invasive alternative to vaginal and vulvar surgery. It is appropriate for many patients and does more than provide symptom relief. It addresses the root cause of incontinence and other concerns by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin proteins deep within neuromuscular tissues. Since it is a non-invasive procedure, Morpheus8V requires minimal downtime or recovery, and patients can safely drive themselves to and from our office for treatment (as no anesthesia is administered for pain control – it’s not necessary!).
