Since the COVID pandemic, remote and virtual healthcare have seen tremendous booms. Telemedicine has become the new normal, especially for patients who have certain health issues that make it difficult to get to the doctor’s office or highly contagious conditions that may put other patients at risk. At Kore MD Health and Wellness, our double board-certified physician, Dr. Nicole Battaglioli of Atlanta, Georgia, is pleased to offer physician telemedicine visits and virtual healthcare options for patients.

What services are provided by telemedicine?

Our team is here for you and can walk you through the process of receiving remote healthcare services, including:

• Urgent Care – Certain conditions can be diagnosed based on a description of symptoms, and our team knows the right questions to ask to get you the care you need. We understand that it can be challenging to reach urgent care facilities, so we offer telemedicine appointments for immediate healthcare needs.

• Medication Refills – If you are on certain medications that require routine calls to the doctor’s office to approve refills, we can help! We offer medication refills via telephone upon request. Most of our patients will not need video conferences for medication refills but may need to provide photos to ensure proper identification, such as photographs of your driver’s license.

• Home Care for Viral Illnesses – When you are sick, it is best to stay home to avoid infecting others. This became extremely important during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, we can serve patients with viral illnesses from the comfort of their homes so they get the rest and care they need without the possibility of impacting others around them.
